Reporting to the VP, Head of International Strategy, the International Marketing Director will be a key member of the International team and a partner with the North America Marketing team. The individual will be a strong leader responsible for helping develop and execute successful launch and post-launch brand strategy, plans and programs.
Responsibilities & Duties
Contribute to the development of the Brand strategy for the International region
Create & execute an omnichannel HCP and Patient/Caregiver marketing plan to support our launches identifying, gathering and leveraging necessary customer and market insights
Lead the development and delivery of supporting programs and materials with a strong focus on digital assets: virtual meetings, webinars, etc.
Work closely with the international Medical Affairs Head to develop and roll-out integrated activities especially in medical communications and educational tactics
Partner with global and regional teams to ensure strategic alignment across functions and seamless roll out of pre-launch, launch and post-launch marketing activities
Engage with countries to provide guidance and co-ordinate affiliate key initiatives: core campaigns & promotional materials, messaging, international conferences, digital strategy, commercial advisory boards, patient identification programs, patient support ?
Contribute to the development of a Global CRM customized to international needs
Maintain productive relationships with scientific societies, congress / virtual meeting organizers and professional bodies leadership
Identify Key Performance Indicators, analyze them and recommend solutions as appropriate
Lead the approval process of HCP and Patient/Caregiver disease and branded materials through Legal Medical Regulatory (LMR) review
Manage multiple agency partners to produce deliverables within timelines and budget
Effectively manage the operational brand budget
Contribute to ad hoc strategic projects requiring analysis of qualitative & quantitative dat
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor?s Degree in science, pharmacy or medical science; Master?s in Marketing and/or Business Administration a plus
At least 10 years of business experience with minimum 5 years pharmaceutical marketing experience; exposure to rare diseases preferred
International commercial experience with understanding of EU regulatory requirements
Solid understanding of current digital marketing concepts, strategy and standards along with hands-on involvement
Launch experience a plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills in verbal and written English
Team player able to work collaboratively and to perform and lead in a fast-paced environments
Makes things happen, self-starter, takes responsibility for execution, voices opinion
Outstanding leadership, team management and presentation skills
Solid analytical skills (proficient with Excel)
Ability to travel as necessary (up to 20%)
This role will be home-office based. Candidates who apply must be willing and able to work in the Netherlands.
This role will involve future travel, post availability of COVID-19 vaccine and pandemic travel guidelines.
