Sr. Accountant

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams, evaluating and identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in accordance with industry best practices.

  • Works directly with accounting teams to review and implement best practices for sales and use tax accruals and application in all 23+ states in which we have nexus.

  • Audits work flow to ensure that accounting transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with best practices.

  • Assists auditors with access to confidential financial information, and provides general support as needed for all accounting/finance audits.

  • Assists the Assistant Controller with a variety of other related tasks as needed.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Equivalent

  • CPA or CPA designation is a plus

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience

  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

  • Strong working knowledge of fully cycle accounting and financial processes.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Advanced Excel skills required) and financial ERP/general ledger systems


  • Displays vast knowledge of math and exceptional accounting skills.

  • Possesses strong leadership skills.

  • Has excellent critical thinking as well as analytical skills.

  • Exhibits strong computer skills and knowledge of relevant technology.

  • Possesses exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Has strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrates good interpersonal skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
