IBM Full stack - Senior Software Developer in Austin, Texas

This role is located ONSITE (after covid) Southbury, CT, Armonk, NY or RTP, NC

There is no relocation offered and no remote option (post covid).

As a Senior Software Developer in the CIO hybrid cloud Engineering UI squad, you will be creating solutions driven by our cloud consumers across all IBM. You will be part of highly talented developers who architect, code, automate, and test the CIO hybrid cloud portal. This portal is responsible for onboarding and managing the whole CIO hybrid Cloud.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5+ years experience front end web development

  • 5+ years experience in React, HTML 5, CSS

  • 4+ years experience in node.js , GoLang

  • 3+ years experience with Relational Databases

  • 2+ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift

  • Experience with Microservices and Cloud development

  • 2+ years experience in UI Design Methods and Thinking

  • 2+ years experience using CI/CD using automated tools and software repositories

  • Proven practical experience in Test Driven development

  • Practical experience using agile methods and processes

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

  • Knowledge of Web Frameworks

  • Knowledge of Software Defined Networking

  • Experience with Linux OS, shell and script programming
