AT&T Sr Specialist-IT Telephony Infras Eng in Austin, Texas

Overall Purpose: This career step requires career level experience. Provides the project planning, infrastructure planning/design, cost estimates/analysis, procurement and implementation of the companys internal corporate communications system. Performs engineering studies to determine requirements, short and long-range engineering plans, designs, and traffic studies of the corporations internal telecommunication systems.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Includes the day-to-day operations and support for paging, LAN/WAN, VRU, voice mail, cellular and phone/other telecom systems as necessary. This includes the implementation, maintenance, administration, configuration, problem resolution and/or technical support for telephony/voice infrastructure related hardware and software. May involve consulting with clients, hardware/software vendors and various telephony/voice support groups. Responsible for monitoring and responding to technical hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of testing tools and techniques in support of the telephony ACD/PBX's, servers, gateways, IVRs, etc. Includes direct technical support for all products delivered in the telephony/voice environment. Job Contribution: Technical professional with some experience. Sound technical knowledge growing through application, expanding knowledge of ATT technologies.

Overall Purpose: Support roll out of Ethernet access to cell sites nationwide in support of AT&T Mobility network. Roles & Responsibilities: 1) Order and track Ethernet Circuits which are complex and require a high degree of accuracy and quality. 2) Create orders using USRP-FR and GIOM and tracked via spreadsheet and SOTS. 3) Meticulously report on orders issued, order tracking and issue trouble tickets and work with IT Teams for resolution. 4) Assigned other customer related assignments as needed.

Education: Bachelors of Science in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science or Engineering preferred.

Experience: Typically requires 2-3 years experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.
