What You’ll Do As a Partner Systems Engineer (PSE) at Cisco, you will be responsible for presenting Cisco Intent-Based Networking and multidomain strategy to our most strategic and impactful channel partners. As a field-based Partner SE, you will be tasked to enable our partners the new way of selling, implementing and managing Cisco technologies. You will also act as the technical go to person between Cisco and partners' technical teams. As an extended member of the Sales and Partner team, you will align with the Cisco Account team, Architecture Sales team and Partner Account Managers to update and share the partner technical enablement strategy. Key Responsibilities includes: * Walk the talk: lead lab, demo, best practices session, and workshops * Sometimes you can also oversee partner training activities leveraging a wide range of Cisco field & corporate resources * Keep yourself up-to-date on meaningful competitive solutions, products, and services, as well as industry trends. * Maintain a distribution list of partner technical contacts and provide regular proactive communications * Support and Cover PAM managed including SPaaCH Partners * Work with partners’ technical teams in opportunities and projects; complement their skill and help assure high quality customer deliverable * Participate in key partner technical escalation and provide appropriate assistance * Provide technical expertise and influence partners towards building an application development practise on Cisco open platform * Encourage partners to utilize Cisco technology internally · Promote the value and adoption of pre-sales program such as dCloud, Partner Help, CCW, Black Belt framework Who You'll Work With The ASEAN Partner engineering team comprises of very hardworking and driven engineers. We play different roles in the area of account pre-sales management, technology deep dive, partner advocacy and engineering leadership. We place emphasis on individual development and relevancy in the marketplace, and we are strong advocate of Cisco's own certification programs. We work closely together to help our customer resolve their business problems. We possess divest engineering expertise and constantly on a look out for new skill sets to add to our team capability. Minimum Qualifications: * Around 5+ years of engineering and partner pre-sales experience * Understanding of the pre-sales engineering process and sales cycles, as well as routes to market * One or more Cisco Network Certification preferred (Professional level desired) * Experience with network management, scripting and automation tools * Ability to clearly and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing, complex technical and sales concepts to a variety of audiences, including executive level technical decision makers * Experience delivering trainings, demos, proof-of-concepts We Are Cisco #WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference.
