Responsibilities:
Assists with writing letters, scripts and reports for target audiences including donors, prospects, physicians, patients and Foundations.
Contributes to written and visual content on healthcare programs, medical research and Cleveland Clinic initiatives for current and prospective donors.
Synthesizes content into compelling, donor-centric materials that align with the tone and brand of Cleveland Clinic.
Writes, edits, proofreads and packages both internal and external communications for the Philanthropy Institute.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all internal and external deadlines are met.
Other duties as assigned.
In addition: Works with the Stewardship team to ensure that philanthropic donors are appropriately recognized and engaged.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Creates donor experiences that demonstrate impact and deepen engagement and satisfaction.
• Familiar with the measures of communication and engagement success and the use of related data to drive strategies.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Certifications:
- None required.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of writing experience required, preferably in a non-profit setting.

Experience in creating communications strategies and implementing communications plans.
Physical Requirements:
Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
Ability to lift and transport up to 15 pounds.
