AT&T Senior Data Analyst in Bedminster, New Jersey
The Senior Data Analyst position supporting Supply Chain Logistics is responsible for the ongoing development of databases, actionable reports, data extraction, in depth knowledge of products, inventory planning, material management functions and forecasting tools.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Participates in the development of demand and supply planning forecast for ABS products
Advises on trends and/or shifts in forecast that could impact company's service levels.
Analysis and development of appropriate safety stock levels for assigned materials.
Support effort to distill massive amounts of complicated data into meaningful and actionable insights, including data validation.
Develop data models, with detailed data definitions that stratify into various business segments.
Design process flows and process models to support operational challenges and changes
Develop a variety of Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports through the use of data mining
Drive successful projects by providing action-oriented analysis and a data driven approach
Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity.
Assists in the development of long and short-term objectives to ensure that programs and efforts are directed toward achieving company goals.
Supports senior management in strategic planning and decision making.
Other Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience with demand and supply planning, procurement, JDA (Blue Yonder) systems;
Advanced analytic (COOL Reporting System, PowerBI, BlackBox, MS Excel, MS Access, QlickView, SQL)
Advanced Systems knowledge (Advanced SQL, MS Access, Linux/Unix, GPS, EFMS)
Scripting/Programming: PHP, Bash, Perl, HTML, Python
Good Analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to build analytical tools using Excel, QlickView, SQL
Good written and verbal communication skills are required;
Strong organizational, problem-solving and communications skills
Ability to meet deadlines in specified time constraints
Education: Preferred bachelors degree and or 5 years or more experience in field.
Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in field
APICS certification preferred, but not required.
