Oracle Programmer Analyst 2-IT in BENGALURU, India
Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.
As a member of the IT organization, assist with the design, development, modifications, debugging, and evaluation of programs for use in internal systems within a specific function area.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
What will you do
Develop and support cloud automation applications for OCI team
Deploy and maintain applications using DevOps tools
Optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for maximum performance, scalability and reliability
Identify problems and/or opportunities for customer cloud infrastructure
Use your excellent written & oral communication skills to communicate our customers effectively
Collaborate with other engineering team members and stakeholders
Job Requirements :
Must have :
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
3 - 4 years of software engineering with proven results in designing, implementing and maintaining complex systems and services
Proficient in Python - Exposure to commonly used python libraries such as Flask, FastAPI, Django, Paramiko etc
Working knowledge in Oracle, MySQL databases
Working knowledge in Ansible/Chef
Working experience in version control tools like git
Write unit test and integration tests
Ability to work in CI / CD and DevOps
Designing and Implementing Rest APIs
Experience working on agile development teams
Knowledge on OCI / AWS / Azure / GCP is a strong plus
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment while continuously evaluating emerging technologies
Nice to have :
Knowledge on Go is a plus
Knowledge of Jenkins
Knowledge on NoSQL databases
Working knowledge in containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes
Cloud - OCI, Azure, AWS, etc.
