Aerotek Operations Technician in Blair, Nebraska

Description:

The Operations Technician is responsible for making sure the plant is running efficiently at all times. This person will have the following duties:

Changing filters Taking product samples of lactic acid and testing them with lab equipment to make sure it matches the specs Climbing on top of tanks for quality checks Troubleshooting machinery-- ex. checking a pipe and finding out why it is clogged Putting raw material into silo's (could be 5 stories in the air) Monitoring control room making sure product being transferring from one tank to another efficiently

3-5 years in an industrial environment OR a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry Candidates must have a strong mechanical aptitude 1-2 years experience with manufacturing computer systems Best candidates will have experience troubleshooting and operating
