Data Engineers on our Coffee Data and Decision Science team are trained to be technical and business leaders, acting as critical members of our Decision Science team, delivering business and consumer value from data at scale. As a Sr. Data Engineer you will apply your curiosity and passion to improve KDP’s coffee business performance through the analysis of data, creation of data pipelines that deliver personalized experiences for our consumers.
What you will do:
Develop a deep understanding of Keurig consumer data and the Coffee business.
Deliver data engineering capabilities for streaming and batch based data ingestion, enrichment and aggregation.
Build and operate tools, services and infrastructure we use to enrich and label the data, create features, train, evaluate and serve both online and offline models.
Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Digital Product Managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that deliver an enriching experience for our consumers.
Provide engineering expertise to influence a multi-year data strategy.
Share your passion for staying on top of quickly changing trends in technology, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other team members.
You have 5+ years of experience as a Software or Data Engineer.
You have experience as a Data or Machine Learning Engineer and successfully delivered business critical data products.
You excel in undefined environments and get excited about finding solutions to complex technical challenges, and then building them.
You keep up with the industry trends and continuously identify new tools to solve technical problems.
Proficiency in programing languages including Java, Python, Scala, SQL.
Experience in containerization and orchestration including Kubernetes, Docker, and Airflow.
Experience with data ingestion and processing frameworks including Kafka and Spark.
Experience with cloud infrastructure including Azure (preferred), GCP or AWS.
