Trans Ash Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Barry Steam Plant) in Bucks, Alabama
Founded in 1960, Trans Ash is a rapidly growing civil land construction & environmental company. This position will be located at the Barry Steam Plant in Bucks, Alabama.

Maintain and repair construction vehicles, heavy equipment, and class A road trucks.
Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills are required.
Knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, engine, transmission, and A.C systems.
Operate and inspect heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
Read and understand repair, operators, and troubleshooting manuals and schematics.
Must fabricate and weld.
May perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.
Must have 5-10 years of experience.
Must have own tools.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, operate vehicles and small equipment.
Must be able to work in a construction environment.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
