Responsible for analyzing patient accounts, performing the appropriate step/action, and handling inquiries regarding patient’s accounts, closing and balancing at month end.

Top Skills Details:
2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting is required for this role, and general healthcare knowledge is required - knowledge/understanding of EOBs (explanation of benefits) is the baseline for all training and work functions
Basic mathematical skills are required for this role, and they will be applied when working with insurance carriers to collect on past due balances. Poor mathematical skills have caused poor performance with previous employees.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1-2 years of insurance follow-up experience is preferred, along with an understanding of timely filing requirements and how to handle denials
The ability to think critically and to work with a solution-oriented mindset is preferred; training is intense and will move fast
