No experience needed!Phlebotomist Driver SummaryFull Time, Union, $15.56/hourVariable Schedule - 2 consecutive days offShift Details: Variable Schedule - 24/7 availability required as this region also conducts some late night/overnight blood drives. Schedule released 3 weeks in advance, plus last minute changes. 2 CDO (consecutive days off) after training.Paid Training is 12 weeks - a couple weeks of classroom training followed by a couple of weeks on-the-job instruction (usually at blood drives throughout the multi-county territory). Alternates back and forth between classroom/hands-on throughout the 12 week program. Team up with your co-workers to keep our donors coming back again and againInteract in a positive, proactive and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers, demonstrating care and compassion at all timesDriving a box truck.The aforementioned responsibilities of the Phlebotomist describe the general nature and level of work and are not an exhaustive list.Phlebotomist Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCustomer service experience, effective verbal communication, and public relations skills are requiredAbility to load and unload vehicles with or without reasonable accommodationMedical assistant or phlebotomy training preferred but not requiredA current, valid driver's license and good driving record is requiredBasic computer skills are requiredMust pass applicable DOT physical and related requirements and be able to obtain medical certification of at least one-year duration.Experience driving box trucks/large van preferred.Physical requirements may include the ability to lift-up to 50 lbs.,occasionally physically assisting donors experiencing an adverse reaction,as well as pushing or pulling heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs (potentially up to 250lbsin weightand with up to
