Summary of Duties:

Undergraduate Student Services Coordinator The College of Education and Human Ecology (EHE) at The Ohio State University is looking for an Undergraduate Student Services Coordinator to support the Department of Human Sciences! Position Overview The Undergraduate Student Services Coordinator (USSC) in the College of Education and Human Ecology (EHE), Department of Human Sciences (DHS) will serve as a point person to work with faculty in the strategic planning of undergraduate curriculum and EHE Academic Affairs in coordinating DHS retention efforts. The main responsibility of this position is to serve on UG Studies Committee and works with faculty in strategic planning of undergraduate curriculum. This includes overseeing the development and maintenance of marketing and communications materials for undergraduate programs in collaboration with program chairs. The USSC also will assist program faculty with undergraduate program web content, including copy, graphics, and layout; collects and compiles information for use by faculty and staff related to enrollment. The role coordinates DHS undergraduate enrollment activities and events; assists with EHE diversity enhancement initiative as well as serving as the point person between EHE Academic Affairs and DHS undergraduate programs in collaborating with regional campus to focus on scheduling and enrollment. Additional responsibilities are to plan and coordinate student activities to encourage student engagement and positively impact student experience; engages undergraduate student groups to seek input and support student led initiatives devoted to wellbeing, health, and economic vitality; works in collaboration with graduate student services coordinator to plan and execute yearly DHS student engagement events. Finally, the USSC will collaborates with program chairs and EHE Academic Affairs to assist with the planning and coordination of DHS retention efforts, to include networking and appreciation events. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks, and comfortable asking questions and making recommendations. They will also need to have the ability to work on a team or independently.

Required Qualifications:

The selected candidate for this position will have demonstrated success in several areas, including: • Master’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Program planning experience; presentation and facilitation skills; higher education admissions experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including excel or similar database programs; • Experience in curricular program planning and administration. • Reasonable knowledge of accounting principles and applications • Ability to work occasional nights and/or weekends;

Target Salary: $47,500.00 - $52,000.00 Annually
