Summary of Duties:
Performs all the duties as a Veterinary Care Technician – Tier II but also coordinates the activities within the Urgent Care service including coordination of clinical support activities for the service area and supervision of staff including registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and student workers. Work involves assisting a veterinarian in technical procedures and activities involving animal health and disease. Performs a variety of animal care responsibilities under the close supervision of a manager and/or clinical veterinarians. Specific duties will be determined by assigned area of responsibility and may involve floating or cross-training through various areas to develop skills and technique. Responsible for the supervision of staff working in the designated service area.

Degree from an accredited veterinary technology program; or an associate degree or bachelor’s degree; completed and successfully passed VTNE prior to hire date; State of Ohio Registered Veterinary Technician at the time of hire.
Minimum three years of RVT experience including a combination of RVT and Veterinary Assistant and some leadership experience in the form of team lead, coordinator, or other position.
Target Salary: $21.00 - $24.62 Hourly
