Title: Oracle EPM Technical Administrator Location: United States-Pennsylvania-Conshohocken Other Locations: United States-Texas-Carrollton Job Number: 000028HC Oracle EPM Technical Administrators are responsible for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance, management and support of application platforms and SaaS services. Responsibilities include managing applications and systems, responding to problems and planning for growth. This responsibility may include migration tasks such as change request review, software build coordination, release documentation, production issue resolution and tracking report distribution. Administrators must also understand the business implications of application and system problems allowing them to appropriately set severity levels when problems do occur. Oracle EPM Administrators monitor the performance of system applications. Individuals execute contingency plans in case of system outages, troubleshoot a wide variety of technical problems and provide Level II support to the Help Desk. In addition, these roles participate in projects to implement new application services and features 1.Works on multiple, moderate to high complex projects as a project team member, occasionally as a technical leader 2.Maintains application and platform health, availability, and stability 3.May work with production team to schedule production release updates and upgrades. 4.Supports integration of changes in test, pre-production and production environments. 5.Works with production quality assurance/testing team to ensure appropriate level of testing has been completed prior to implementation of change 6.Ensures the performance and reliability of the system or application. 7.Defines procedures and technical design for user access and administration 8.Responds to escalated system problems. 9.Monitors and maintains a comprehensive set of performance metrics for all system features. 10.Identifies risk levels and recommends and implements corrective/preventive actions. 11.Maintains history reports, identifies and addresses re-occurring problems. 12.May develop online help and update systems support help scripts. 13.Participates in, or may lead, peer knowledge sharing groups. 14.Counsels users on technology changes that will impact work processes. 15.Prepares documentation for customer support, such as software configurations and network configurations.
