The Customer Outcomes Senior Technical Consultant is responsible configuring ServiceNow Platform based on best practices to deliver a solution that achieves customer business outcomes. The Technical Consultant is the functional and technical expert in customer engagements.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Participates in workshops with customer stakeholders to assess current processes and define future-state processes.

  • Designs and delivers ServiceNow Platform and Now Intelligence solutions with a technical architecture designed for long-term success and following ServiceNow technical standards and best practices.

  • Advises customers on how to take advantage of the ServiceNow Platform capabilities to improve their business processes.

  • Champions and adds to our best practices.

  • Provides feedback to our services and product development to improve the product/services based on experiences gained with customers.

  • Creates innovative solutions and new functions where needed to solve customer issues.

  • Achieves individual KPIs and metrics as defined by the organisation.

  • Up to 50% travel annually, driven by customer needs.

  • Builds and maintains skills / certifications on

  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)

  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)​

  • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) -ITSM

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • BA/BS or equivalent

  • Minimum 3+ years of related work experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of application development solutions in a client environment

  • Enjoys solving complex issues and resolving them

  • Thrives in working collaboratively and cross-functionally

  • Operates independently with limited guidance and identifies new opportunities.

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and additional European languages would also be desirable.

  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, and ability to deal with cultural diversity

  • Has experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.) and working in a SaaS environment.

  • Has experience with data management, database design, and database concepts.

  • Has knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO, and IT infrastructure such as Load Balancers, Application Servers, and Databases, and other widespread enterprise technologies.

Other nice to have skills would be:

  • Creative, high energy, entrepreneurial self-starter comfortable leading initiatives and programs independently within a start-up paced environment

  • Experience with ITIL, minimum foundation level, ideally higher; knowledge of other frameworks such as COBIT beneficial

  • ServiceNow certifications such as Application Development, Performance Analytics, or Virtual Agent.

Work personas

Work personas are categories that are assigned to employees depending on the nature of their work. Employees will fall into one of three categories: Remote, Flexible or Required in Office.

Required in Office

A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.

Flexible

A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.

Remote

A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
