Amazon Web Services Program Manager in Dublin, Ireland


We are looking for a Program Manager to join the Networking Operational Excellence team.

The ideal candidate will require proven project management, critical thinking and problem solving skills. The candidate should be open to new challenges, extremely good at multi-tasking, innovative, creative, self-directed and a great team player. Candidates should drive continuous process improvement, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional operational and software engineering teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.

Key responsibilities

· Clarify and drive network project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability.

· Manage multiple competing networking projects simultaneously.

· Partner with multiple teams across multiple locations with varying sets of priorities to ensure a timely and high quality delivery.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor Degree or relevant degree/experience

· 4+ years of experience in program or project management, including the delivery of cross-functional projects.

· Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation and standardization.

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills


Preferred Qualifications

· In-depth knowledge and experience working with data/metrics

· Experience in defining and implementing cost saving opportunities within an operational environment

· Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative solutions for internal customer problems.

· Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently with attention to detail.

· Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
