This position will support an OptumInsight greenfield initiative being executed within Optum Payment Integrity’s Product Engineering team. You will work across existing product working teams - such as Coordination of Benefits and Data Engineering - as we design, develop, and manage the capabilities, features and user stories required to support the Outcomes-Based Contract Enablement program.

Evaluate business requirements and prepare the detailed functional and technical Capabilities that enable stated project outcomes
Decompose project-level Capabilities into executable Features and User Stories to be groomed and executed by supporting Scrum Team(s)
Work with Architecture, Developers and supporting Product Teams to provide full understanding of requirements and design, ensuring all clarifications and questions are resolved
Create and manage a delivery roadmap visualizing the delivery of project milestones and key Capabilities
Act as the liaison between multiple Business, Engineering, and Project Management Teams to drive alignment of proposed or planned work

3+ years of product management, product development, product strategy or equivalent work experience
Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with Agile methodologies
Experience using data to support sound business decisions across teams and management
Knowledge of product development process; experience with requirements management, project management, and complex projects and activities
Familiarity with requirement tracking tools (Aha!, Rally, Jira, VersionOne, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, solve, and implement solutions to issues
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others, aligning people, strategies, and recommendations with business objectives
Demonstrated ability to support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrixed environment

Experience working with multiple projects, teams, and / or stakeholders simultaneously
Experience working on product development, management, or strategy for a product that combines technical and service elements
Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
Working knowledge of databases, database structures
Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Strategic thinking and comfortability with ambiguity
Self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision and drive results with disciplined follow-though
Strong analytic, quantitative and problem-solving skills

Colorado Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
