Introduction to the team
The National Tax Management Team Senior Manager plays a vital role in the achievement of firm tax practice goals. In this role, you will collaborate with tax leaders and team members from across the firm as well as National Office functional teams, including Legal, IT, and Learning & Development, to directly impact our tax practice.

Lead projects focused on risk management
Lead projects that support other firm tax practice initiatives
Serve as a resource on tax practice policies and respond to office inquiries
Develop and review tax practice communications, training, and intranet content
Evaluate implications of new tax law changes, including regulatory and administrative guidance
Develop and review tax technical content for external marketing distribution
Collaborate with technical specialists to facilitate development and delivery of tax technical training, project tools and resources, and risk management procedures
Conduct technical research and communicate findings
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in accounting or a related field preferred
Minimum of 8 years tax professional experience
CPA license required
Strong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills, good judgement, and ability to effectively interface with employees and leaders at all levels within the firm
Excellent written and verbal communication including the ability to articulate complex issues to others
Strong organizational and project management skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Advanced skills in technology-based applications (e.g.,Word, Excel, Power Point, Web-based tax research software, and internet applications)
Self-directed professional with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
