Aerotek Quality Control Lab Technician in GREENSBORO, North Carolina

Description:

•Perform in-process, final and/or retain sample testing for specialty chemicals.

•Calculate adjustments for in-process batches for all products.

•Operate and maintain analytical equipment including HPLC, GC, Auto Titrators, Viscometer, Particle Size analyzer, Karl Fisher.

•Perform testing on retain samples for shelf life extension or root cause investigation.

•Data entry into LIMS and SAP

•Approve incoming raw materials based on COA results and necessary test(s).

•Batch ticket preparation for conventional and Low Free urethane products.

•Basic laboratory functions such as stocking chemicals, disposing of waste, washing glassware, shipping samples and maintaining a clean laboratory environment.

Bachelor's Degree in a science related field. 0-3 years of prior lab/qc experience. Prior Wet Chemistry/Organic Chemistry experience. Experience with HPLC/GCMS is highly preferred.
