Aerotek Mortgage Assistant in Linthicum Heights, Maryland

The Mortgage Assistant will be responsible for the following:

  1. Lead Management (20%)

A. Duties to include the checking and monitoring of leads assigned to the MLO’s and notifying the Sales Manager when leads are out of SLA for their initial contact and subsequent follow-up;

  1. Application Management (20%)

A. Duties to include the checking and monitoring of Loans in Origination (leads converted to applications, but not yet submitted to processing) and notifying the MLO’s & Sales Managers when they have been in that status for 5 days;

  1. Processing Pipeline Management (60%)

A. Duties to include periodic review of each loan in each MLO’s loans that are in processing status, with checking and monitoring for the following and reporting issues to Sales Manager:

1) Status of Appraisal order/appointment/report;

2) Status of Title order/appointment/report;

3) # days since most recent touch-point by assigned Processor;

4) # days since any open request from Member a/o MLO for status update or requested response to a specific issue/question from the Member;

5) # of days until scheduled closing (purchases);

  1. Potential Additional Opportunities – based on skill/experience/time available

A. Reaching out to Members to follow-up on needed documents, in support of Processor & MLO’s efforts;

B. Identifying and contacting “abandoned leads” within loan origination system and initiating follow-up contact with Member, to gauge interest;
