As a Project Manager III, you will work under the guidance of senior and executive leadership as an internal consultant, helping to drive and consult on initiatives from start to finish. This position will take an active role in building and sustaining programs that support strategic and operations goals and will provide efficiencies locally and at the corporate level. The Project Manager III position is an opportunity for someone to grow professionally and sharpen their experience within the managed care industry.
Oversee operations, and business strategy utilizing cross-functional departments to meet strategic objectives
Manage the full project life cycle including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, managing budget, and facilitating project execution, deployment and closure.
Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists and risk management plans
Provide leadership and effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders, may include written executive summaries
Negotiate with key stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks
Coordinate cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company's objectives
Support adhoc projects and senior-level meetings through analysis, collaboration with multiple stakeholders, and clear written and verbal communication
Communicate with leadership across the organization regarding key initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred. 4+ years of project management and implementation or program management experience in a managed care or healthcare setting preferred. Proficient with MS Office applications and project management tools. Experience working with and leading diverse groups in matrix managed environments, and working directly with Senior/Executive leadership teams.
PMP, PgMP, or CAPM preferred.
