The Manager will lead a team directly responsible for developing global product registration dossiers in collaboration with local affiliates and cross functional partners across the enterprise.

Team responsibilities include supporting the initial regulatory submission as well as ongoing maintenance and amendment of registrations, development of strategies to bring new products and ingredients to market. To keep pace with the changing regulatory world the team is tasked with integrating new regulations and requirements into product dossiers and communicating new or updated requirements to cross functional partners.

The manager will assess the skills necessary to deliver against project objectives and create training and development plans to ensure the function has the skills necessary to deliver against corporate objectives.

Manage Global Product Registration team to create dossiers and documents necessary to secure registrations in accordance with business objectives and timelines.

  • Manage shifting team priorities.

  • Assign and track progress of projects and initiatives.

  • Enable others to achieve project goals; provide direction and remove barriers.

  • Provide cross-functional partners clarity on registration requirements and timelines.

  • Prepare and communicate impact assessment of changes in regulation or interpretation to appropriate function(s).

  • Act as a catalyst to share relevant information across functions and locations.

  • Provide regular follow-up with each market to ensure accuracy and sufficiency of data and documentation.

  • Build and leverage a cross-functional network throughout the company and across geographic boundaries to progress corporate initiatives.

  • Provide oversight and quality review of dossiers (data, documents), identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Assess functional capabilities vs requirements, develop staff to address current and emerging enterprise requirements.

  • Develop and share and meaningful updates on registration KPIs with stakeholders

  • Team player, able to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of cross-functional teams and outside of organization.

  • Able to communicate complex regulations for non-technical business partners

  • Able to develop and evaluate alternate registration strategies

  • Fully proficient and experienced with Windows Office, Excel and Outlook and computer applications.

  • Demonstrated team building and personnel development skills

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts with focus on biology, chemistry, biochemistry or toxicology

  • Relevant Cosmetics industry experience considered

  • 3-5 years experience

  • less than 10%Travel

  • English – both written and verbal proficiency, other language(s) desirable
