Summary:

The Business Engineering and Partner Solutions team (BEPS) provides businesses with the solutions they need to face the tasks of today, as well as the expertise to engineer a path to the future. Depending on a business’ needs, BEPS will connect them with in-house engineers, recommend the right partners, or develop a customized combination of both. By integrating technology and partnerships in one team, BEPS can employ the right solution, empowering businesses to grow today and build for tomorrow.

We are seeking a strategic and operationally-savvy leader to drive a scalable, holistic approach as Facebook’s Business Engineering and Partner Solutions team strives to better serve and engage underrepresented and strategically-important partners on our platforms that represent diverse communities. This person will build partnerships and support programs that enable our entire organization to better serve and engage strategic communities. The leader of this team will cross-functionally manage a broad set of key internal stakeholders, and track and optimize results over time to drive key engagement and business goals for Facebook, our partners, and these communities.

Required Skills:

  1. Lead development of a holistic approach that enables Facebook, Inc. to drive value through partners that connects with the interests and needs of diverse and strategic audiences across our platforms

  2. Identify, select, and manage priority partners in order to accomplish this goal, spanning partner types (e.g. AdTech, Creative, Messaging, Commerce, etc.), diverse audiences and Facebook Inc. platforms and services (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Oculus, etc.)

  3. Empower and educate our partner management functions to maximize their effectiveness in engaging and growing partners that are most relevant to these audiences

  4. Support scalable partnership, marketing and educational programs to grow the number of relevant partners we successfully work with, in conjunction with our Marketing teams

  5. Implement systems to track and measure outcomes from this work in conjunction with Business Operations and other cross functional stakeholders

  6. Drive alignment with and project manage a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders to successfully execute this approach utilizing all best practices across the organization, including Product, Engineering, Business Operation, Marketing, Policy, Legal, Operations, Communications, Diversity & Inclusion, Human Resources, ERGs, and more

  7. Lead executive-level internal briefings regarding strategic direction, progress reports, key decisions and escalations as appropriate

  8. Lead partner-facing interactions and external activities as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree

  2. 12+ years experience in strategic program management leadership roles and/or project management leadership of cross-functional operations

  3. Experience synthesizing issues into operational strategy

  4. Demonstrated strategic, analytical, and problem solving experience

  5. Experience translating strategy into an operational plan and drive to completion

  6. Experience leading cross-functional teams and holding people accountable for deliverables and business goals without a formal reporting structure

  7. Experience working independently with minimum supervision and leading multiple projects simultaneously involving various teams/locations

  8. Demonstrated experience motivating and leading groups of people, including those outside of their reporting line

  9. Experience communicating at all levels of a highly matrixed organization

  10. Relationship building experience

  11. Knowledge of Facebook products, Facebook the company, and social media

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA and/or operationally-oriented strategy consulting experience

  2. Experience serving diverse audience segments within media and/or consumer tech companies
