Ascension Health Technician-PCT-CNA-St. Joseph Hospital Emergency Dept in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
We Are Hiring
Able to work in a fast-paced, high stress, team environment. BLS and CNA certification required. Experience preferred, but not required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 0.6 FTE. Three 8 hour shifts/week. 0645-1515. Mandatory every other weekend and half of all holidays.
What You Will Do
Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
Aid with movement and placement of patients.
Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Document necessary records.
Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.
Perform emergency department specific care/duties as assigned within scope of job.
What You Will Need
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the state of Wisconsin obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
CNA certification on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting.
- High school diploma or GED required.
