Job Description

LRS Consulting Services is seeking two experienced JavaScript Developers for our client. This is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity. This position will start out as a remote role. The selected Software Engineer will design, develop, test and debug applications for an Agent enablement platform that manages Coaching, Agent Knowledge Management, and Pay Per Experience (PPX). The applications utilize JavaScript based frameworks with functional programming logic. The position will assist in code development, reviews, performance tuning, code optimization, production support & troubleshooting.


• Work in a dynamic, collaborative, transparent, non-hierarchical, and ego-free culture where your talent is valued over a role title.

• Build Helix applications on a JavaScript platform hosted in AWS.

• Write automated functional tests for the Node.js Lambda services.

• Follows established coding standards and techniques and conducts code reviews with peers.

• Ensures code complies with security policies and guidelines.

• Automate deployment and management of the platform using Jenkins and other cloud automation tools.


• Minimum of 2yrs (3ys is preferred) experience in building software using JavaScript frameworks.

• Software development experience with Node.js.

• Experience with standard data structures like JSON, XML

• Experience with Git and tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab is preferred.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services primarily Lambda, S3, API Gateway.

• Familiarity with Twilio cloud platform.

• Familiarity with Dynamo DB, Potgres, or Kafka a plus.

• A good understanding of Agile/Lean best practices and tools.( Atlassian Jira/Confluence)
