Aerotek Phlebotomist in Nashville, Tennessee
Aerotek is currently partnering with a Laboratory in the Greater Nashville area in need of a Phlebotomist to join their team. Please see below for details and qualifications!
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Patient Service Technician/Phlebotomist
Completion of an approved phlebotomy training course (or equivalent)
Experience with GI panels is a plus
Description:
Supporting 2 clinics; Southeast Nashville M-Th, Smyrna on Friday
Perform 10-20 sticks per day within a stand alone laboratory
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for GI panels
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
