VMware is currently seeking a Digital Platform Experience Senior Manager to lead our digital platform partner experience initiatives within the Partner Experience, Programs and Distribution (PxPD) team for Channel Partners in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. This individual will be responsible for working with segment and regional sales, route to market leaders, franchise platform leads and marketing owners to develop & implement the program strategy, planning, and infrastructure for VMware’s Channel Partners. This role will closely work with key stakeholders in both Sales, Route to Market, Operations and IT to ensure a successful platform is in place to support PxPD strategies to drive company goals. The PxPD organization utilizes various infrastructures while working closely with all stakeholders to plan and design.
Reporting to the Director of Partner Experience, the Digital Platform Experience Senior Manager is a well-rounded individual who has excellent communication, organizational, financial/analytical and interpersonal skills. The role requires a proven track record in scalable operational rigor, attention to detail, messaging/positioning, stakeholder alignment and broad execution capabilities. A requirement is to motivate, leverage, and manage internal teams on a project basis in order to accomplish the PxPD strategy while creating internal and external raving fans.
Manage the Digital Platform Partner Experience initiative
Develop initiative frameworks for scale and automation: project scope, objectives, expense management, processes optimization, integration planning
Define a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; managing changes to project scope/schedule/costs / risk management using appropriate verification techniques
Engage cross-functional team to ensure alignment and address project technical feasibility
Provide operational thought partnership
Track project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short and long-term goals. Clear / concise communication and escalation of project details as appropriate
Build executive level read outs (Microsoft power point decks) to facilitate decision making and support ongoing business needs (business reviews, insights, strategy decks, etc.).
Provide an amazing experience for internal / external stakeholders
Create “raving fans” while transforming vision to reality

BA/BS degree preferred
Proven work experience in Process Analysis, Program Management, Channel / Sales initiative management, Sales Operations across cross functional teams
Ability to self-start and self-direct work in a fast-paced environment
Proven problem solving, analytical, critical thinking skills
Intermediate skill level in data analysis and use of Excel
Advanced skill level on Microsoft power point, ability to tell a story through the slides
Excellent organization skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to relate effectively to a wide range of stakeholders and build consensus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
