We are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our Finance & Accounting (F&A) organization as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst in Toronto, ON for November 1, 2021. The Senior Credit Risk Analyst is a non-management level role, and it is part of the Credit Risk Team who will be in charge of the following key responsibilities:
Assess the credit worthiness of prospective customers.
Review customer’s credit limits by assessing customers credit worthiness through financial statement analysis and other investigative tools
Communicate with customer finance management regarding their company's financial condition penetrating the areas of opportunities
Evaluate and provide credit decisions on customer orders.
Provide coaching on collection issues.
Use external credit resources (e.g. Dun & Bradstreet, Moody's, Google Finance, Credit Monitor)
Lead process improvements and other credit related project work.
Bachelor's Degree (Accounting degree is preferred)
1-2 years of relevant experience on Customer Credit decision making and Retailer Financial analysis
Be extremely collaborative as we work in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ideal candidates have the following competencies :
Strong Excel Skills
Attention to detail, with the ability to follow up and/or resolve the issue
SAP experience is an asset
