Job Description:

This Facilities HVAC Tech D will provide support for as a critical highly-skilled technician replacement. Requires 15-20+ years’ HVAC experience, requires MASTERY to include controls, refrigerant and mechanical. HVAC Tech D will coordinate work of contractors and interface with customers to accommodate program requirements. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a company vehicle to travel to all 5 sites in Brevard.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for HVAC requests for 3.5M SF in 75 buildings spread across 5 locations in Brevard

  • 15-20+ years’ HVAC experience, requires MASTERY to include controls, refrigerant and mechanical.

  • Must have refrigerant certifications and associated HVAC industry certifications.

  • Use HVAC software to ensure components are accurately installed, tracked, etc.

  • Will be required to be part of the ‘on-call’ rotation

  • Secret Clearance preferred, but not required

  • Role is customer focused; metric driven and has an expectation of timely completion and close out of Work Orders.

  • Will work in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneously

    Qualifications:

  • High School diploma requires and 15-20+ years of prior related experience. Must have mastery of HVAC.

  • Must be certified to work with refridgerant

  • Valid driver’s License

  • Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Good interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Self-starter with good written and verbal communications skills

  • Microsoft Suite basic skills

  • Experience working with engineering blueprints, process specifications and building layouts.
