Position Description :
The Surgical Services Assistant Director (SSAD) is responsible for the overall management and coordination of functions within the surgical support entities. The SSAD holds the accountability to manage within the context of the surgical services department and to transform Princeton’s mission and vision into daily operations yielding an efficient, effective and caring team. The SSAD works independently assuming primary responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating and delivering surgical support services, inclusive of SPD, ORAs, clerical team and scheduling/ surgical data. The SSAD is responsible to achieve objectives of surgical support team inclusive of improving procedural turnover time, transportation, optimizing block schedules, optimizing SPD production, standards and optimal operational process and ensure data need capture and necessary reporting compliance.
Minimum Requirements :
Require Education and Experience
Masters Degree required.
5-8 years relevant experience required. 8+ preferred.
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or within 6 months of hire into position.
