Keurig Dr Pepper Sales Analytics & Planning Analyst in Plano, Texas
KDP is seeking a Sales Analytics & Planning Analyst to join our Sales Strategy Planning and Analytics (SSPA) Team and the broader US Cold Beverage business. This individual’s primary responsibility will be to lead the development & management of reporting tools to effectively track performance across the business. By leveraging various types of data reporting (internal sales, syndicated, etc.), this individual will help identify Route-to-Market (RTM) sales opportunities, and propose insights into corrective actions and other D&A opportunities to field sales teams and Executive Leadership in regards to annual sales objectives on key brands, innovation, and emerging brand launches.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, process driven, analytical, solutions oriented, and can able to manage multiple projects at once.
The candidate will work closely with the Analytics & Planning team to share best practices and work on adhoc cross-system projects as needed. And, as the key connection between the field sales team and HQ, they will work cross-functionally across Commercial, IT, and Supply Chain.
Responsibilities for Sales Analytics & Planning Analyst
Develop, manage, and analyze various weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly KPI tools and performance reporting
Examine and interpret results of KPIs with the capability to dig into the high-level metrics to inform leadership on drivers of leading indicators
Support management of innovation and new brand launches through the development and tracking of scorecards, and analysis on drivers of performance and opportunities
Lead the discovery, preparation, and presentation of results on adhoc requests from US Cold Beverages leadership on sales performance relating to brand D&A, performance, and execution
Prepare content for, participate in, and assist in coordination of various leadership meetings including senior customer meetings such as Quarterly Leadership Councils with Top Bottling Partners, Quarterly Joint Business Planning Meetings with Sales Leadership as well as US Cold Beverages Executive Leadership team.
Act as a trusted advisor on data analytics to respective RTM SVPs, VPs, DSMs, RSMs, and our Independent Bottling Partners
Lead trainings across respective RTM field partners on reporting tools functionality, data interpretation, and insights application to inform action plans
Anticipate future demands of RTM System and broader KDP organization and work with A&P team to design and implement solutions to meet those demands.
Learn and develop expertise in internal volumetric data (e.g. KDP shipments and bottler depletions), as well as syndicated data sources (e.g. IRI)
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance, economics, statistics, marketing, or related field required
Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
1-3 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, and analyzing performance/ consumer data
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
Understanding and experience using analytical concepts: hypothesis development, framing the situation, analyzing data, drawing conclusions and developing actionable recommendations
Strong ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple projects at once
Proficient in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
Proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, vlookups, and experienced with management of large data-sets
Data automation abilities – experience in enhancing speed of report generation and speed to insights, eg Alteryx or something similar
1-3 years of experience with Sales data including internal and syndicated sales data (e.g. IRI/Nielsen); including report creation, sharing, and managing
1-3 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry
Proficient in Data visualization
