Aerotek Inspector in Reading, Pennsylvania
Description:
MUST HAVES:
Electronic assembly experience - small part assembly / If not assembly, will look at testing
Quality or attention to detail
Electronics preferred, not a must
Work within a small team
Comfortable with tedious work
Tester:
They will train them on the job
Place the part into the sensor and the read a meter to test the quality of the product.
Need to be detail orientated and focused on the minor details. They are working on small electronic parts
Quality experience – looking for defects or abnormalities in the product
Some experience in testing/quality would be great, but not a must.
Inventory:
This position would be working in the stockroom.
Responsible for pulling parts based off of the work instructions given.
Data entry (Not needed, but very helpful) – Will ideally need computer experience
Counting (Literally needs to be able to count). They need to be able to count how many pieces are requested for the kits.
Will be building up kits for assembly and soldering – following instructions from an instructions sheet
SMT Operator:
Does not need to have a background in electronics or SMT.
Need to be focused on the work at hand. Will be operating SMT Machine
Candidates will be setting up the machine by placing the board into the machine and make sure it is accurately assembled. Are all parts assembled/soldered in the correct place.
The board will then get put through the oven, make sure all of the parts are on correctly (Quality Checking their work before it goes into the oven)
No experience needed, will be trained on the job.
Candidates are expected to do the following:
Soldering electronic components
Should have assembly background
Perform visual inspection for quality of product.
Position, align, and hand place components
Set up solder paste stencil for pasting circuit boards
Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and react/ recover responsibly
Must have strong attention to detail and quality of work
Candidate will conduct inspections to ensure boards pass minimum criteria for quality, particularly soldering.
