Dell Briefing Consultant, Executive Briefing Program in Round Rock, Texas

What you’ll achieve

As a Briefing Consultant for the Executive Briefing Program, you will be at the epicenter of next-generation customer engagements. You will be responsible for the planning and support of in-person, hybrid and remote briefings held at the Executive Briefing Center (EBC), in Field locations and virtually. Our world-class customer experiences help the Global Sales organization build relationships with customers, uncover new opportunities, and win business. The Briefing Consultant will need to apply knowledge of products, solutions, and services to assist in developing strategic agenda content for the briefings. They will engage with multiple stakeholders including sales teams, executives, and subject matter experts throughout the planning process. You will:

  • Build and leverage a strong understanding of the Dell Technologies portfolio (non-technical)

  • Evaluate briefing requirements based on sales impact, revenue potential, level of attendees, market segmentation, stage in sales cycle, etc.

  • Initiate strategic consultative discussions with Sales Teams to understand customers’ needs as well as outline clear goals and develop customized agendas for briefings

  • Simultaneously plan and manage multiple Executive Briefings that meet the objectives of the Customer, Partner and Sales Team.

  • Coordinate with subject matter experts (Discussion Leaders) globally to support briefing engagements

  • Manage end-to-end briefing process from pre-briefing to post-briefing including but not limited to: planning calls with sales teams and resources, agenda building, calendar management, session and resource consultation, feedback and follow-up

  • Consistently maintain a dynamic and high paced workload, balancing conflicting priorities while delivering exceptional results

  • Work with colleagues in similar roles via a Shared Services Model to plan briefings in our Executive Briefing Center locations as well as Virtual and Field engagements

  • Collaborate with Executive Briefing Center leaders and colleagues to identify and implement opportunities to improve briefing program

Essential Requirements:

  • Ongoing training and development to learn the complete Dell Technologies product, solutions, and services portfolio

  • Experience with and VisitOps is beneficial

  • Comfortable interacting with Executive-level engagements and Executive-level communications

  • Negotiation and influence skills; confidence in handling objections and driving productive meetings

  • Associate/Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years equivalent work experience

  • Minimal travel required (estimated once per quarter)
