The Training Manager will be responsible for developing and facilitating culinary and productivity training to ensure that all Aramark processes are learned and practiced by new and existing employees. The position will provide PRIMA Web training and user support. The Food Quality Training & Development Manager will support the field to drive compliance to all standards of operation, regulatory and internal food safety, and food quality requirements. Additionally, the Food Quality Training & Development Manager will be the ambassador for food driving health and wellness at our locations.
Core Job Duties/Responsibilities
Develop and facilitate culinary and productivity training and presentations covering a range of technical, operational and/or managerial areas.
Focuses on culinary excellence, innovation, and the experience for the Food program to support operational excellence at a National level.
In collaboration with the Culinary/Chef's Council, develop and implement relevant training to increase knowledge and ability of culinary staff.
Partner with leadership to identify and prioritize technical and skills gaps and training needs.
Develop platforms to train new and existing employees virtually, group or individual instruction on location, or at training Centers of Excellence.
Manage and execute operational excellence initiatives and standards of operation.
Perform administrative functions necessary to document training programs and track employee training and progress.
Financial Performance - Understand food and labor performance metrics and data trends and how to drive on improvement focusing on efficiencies in food and labor productivity standards.
Productivity - Lead managers in implementing and maintaining corporate agenda for both food and labor initiatives.
Compliance - Leverage PRIMA Web to deliver systematic food production process. Ensure managers maintain safe and healthy work environments.
Mobilization - Support new business mobilizations; assess culinary teams' skillsets and execute onboarding and training programs.
Travel - 50% Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree, plus a minimum of 5 years of executive culinary management and training experience at a regional level.
Food/Nutrition and Food Safety experiences required.
Previous experience training new and existing employees.
Healthcare experience is required.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Minimum 2-3 years culinary management experience in a multi-unit setting required.
Passion for food trends, flavors, innovation, and recipe development.
Proficiency with PRIMA Web.
Computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
Culinary Degree preferred or a minimum of 5 years culinary experience.
