Provide comprehensive financial forecasts and analysis
Strong research and analysis skills
Strong attention to details and effective multi-tasking
Excellent communication and presentation skills – the ability to understand and interpret complex data easily to leadership
Ability to work autonomously on special projects
Refresh and tie-out monthly, quarterly and annual financial data models in Excel. This includes but not limited to monthly actuals, forecast models and budget files.
Assist in the development of intermittent forecasts and annual budget templates
Assist with the roll-up and load of the annual budget enterprise wide into the PeopleSoft system.
Manage and refresh monthly variance reports and workforce rosters for regional leadership
Contribute to team initiatives and reporting needs as requested

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited college/university (other degrees are considered when accompanied by aptitude or interest in finance) with a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel as well as proficiency in other Office applications
Strong communication skills with ability to relay financial findings in a clear and concise manner
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight financial deadlines
Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads
Strong analytic skills with large data sets
This an office based position in San Antonio, TX
If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
PeopleSoft and Smartview/Essbase experience strongly
Experience with continuous planning systems required, Planful experience
Healthcare financial experience highly preferred
Analyzing and reviewing accounting journal entries
