Aerotek Construction Project Manager in SAN DIEGO, California
The project manager is responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The ideal project manager will work collaboratively using effective and positive communication with the project team, consultants, clients, sub contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction over the project.
- 5+ years construction industry experience.
-A degree in Construction Management, Architectural, Engineering or related field and/or a history of professional experience in the construction industry
-A demonstrated understanding of construction means and methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial and institutional buildings and site work related thereto
-Proficiency with MS Office, Bluebeam and other related software required to create required documentation. The ability to use Primavera P6 Timberline, Prolog and similar software is also beneficial
-Current safety credentials to include OSHA requirements and knowledge of general construction safety requirements.
