We are accepting applications for a Mortgage Loan Assistant to do the following:
Provides a variety of administrative, operational and customer service assistance for the assigned real estate department.
Assists by providing a variety of loan services to new and existing customers.
Provides excellent customer service at all times.
Ensures adherence to compliance regulations, security, bank policies, procedures and goals.
Helps facilitate loan processes from initiation through closing.
Assists with deposit services when needed.
Prepares loan package and coordinates submission.
Completes loan documentation checklist.
Monitors maturing loan reports; prepares documents for renewal and ensures documents are current, requests information, tracks compliance and analyzes data.
Ensures accurate documentation and receipt of fees.
Manages tickler file for covenant, title insurance monitoring and credit file maintenance.
Cross-sells other products and services.
Coordinates customer service process to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Provides research as needed.
Reviews specific GL accounts to monitor and identify issues/problems.
Facilitates the production of various reports as needed.
Assists developing strategies to meet the needs of the customer.
Acts as department liaison as necessary.
Responsible for training and mentoring others.
Maintain loan training manual.
May be called upon to manage workflow for department.
Other duties as assigned.
Requires High School Degree or Equivalent and 2+ years mortgage lending procedures, loan processing, or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
Proficient knowledge of lending processes, loan principles, loan systems.
Knowledge of banking process helpful.
Must have solid organizational and customer service skills.
Must possess numeric and verbal aptitudes.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to complete processes and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of common office software systems and applications.
