Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities

This role will be part of the HR Connect shared services team within the Human Resources department. This team drives efficiencies and strives to be a single resource for employees and their HR needs. This role will not only support employees of the company but will also collaborate with the department in various projects and data maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for the department, entering a high volume of employment records into our HR database and answering employee HR related questions.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of employees by entering new hire information our HR database, collecting and tracking new hire forms, establishing personnel files, preparing exit documents and entering status changes in the HR database

  • Process a variety of other data changes and maintain personnel files

  • Answer employee HR related questions through our electronic tracking system, email, by phone, or in person.

  • Provide HRIS system support to employees and the HR organization

  • Serve as a partner and provide support to assigned Field HR Generalists and Business HR Generalists

  • Ensure accuracy of data change requests through HRIS system

  • Collaborate with Payroll department in support of the time management system and pay updates

  • Assist in identifying process improvements in HR processes

  • Performs other job-related duties to support HR needs as assigned

Required Skills / Capabilities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Solid systems skills; including expertise in Human Resources information system(s) and solid understanding of MS Office Suite

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions, and regions; able to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing

  • Highly organized and detail oriented with an ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced organization

  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines

  • Integrity: adheres to high moral and ethical standards with the ability to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with UltiPro HRIS and ServiceNow

  • Experience working in a complex business environment with a high volume of data changes; full understanding of HR functions and best practices; exposure to Labor Law and payroll practices

  • Clear thinking/problem solving; able to quickly grasp new ideas

  • Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations

Education and Experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 2+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree
