What You'll Do
You'll be responsible for development of content and messaging for internal and external audiences for the SVP, Customer and Partner Services. This role works in partnership with teams across the company to prepare a wide variety of communication material: internal and external email communications, event coordination (i.e., All Hands), video communications, Powerpoint design, and online/website content creation.
Who You'll Work With
As the CPS Communications Lead you will work closely with Cisco’s Corporate Communications partners, Operations Communication partners, and across the entire CPS organization. You’ll be positioned on the CPS Strategy and Planning team and to work closely to the CPS Chief of Staff. .
Who You Are
You have experience in building strong relationships with a broad, deeply-integrated group of partners. You can help drive and implement strategic communications planning and execution to deliver on that strategy.
You demonstrate the ability to work across multiple communications fields. You have experience advising and working directly with senior executives, are a strong collaborator, a strong writer, and have the ability to partner globally across a mix of constituents and organizations. You bring a curious and innovative approach that is digital-savvy and has experience in message creation, storytelling, PowerPoint and Excel.
You will execute against the strategic communications plan for the executive team. Key Priorities will be: * Prepare executive communications and day-to-day remarks on behalf of the SVP of Customer and Partner Services * Manage CPS organization events (All Hands meetings, Team Talks, etc.) * Ad hoc Powerpoint creation and messaging * Manage internal websites and associated materials * Prepare video messaging / recordings with CPS leadership to drive messaging to the extended organization * Attend company events and integrate messaging alignment and consistency from across the company * Demonstrate consistent communications excellence while executing flawlessly
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- 10+ years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, or related field
- 7+ years internal/external communications in varied disciplines, such as organizational communications, executive communications, and public relations
