Aerotek Inventory Coordinator in Santa Rosa, California

SHIFT: Day Shift, 8AM- 4:30PM + OT

The Inventory Coordinator 1 is a lead position. The IC1 works in the warehouse and is a heavy lifter role (up to 50 lbs.). The Inventory Coordinator (IC) checks everything that goes from the warehouse into production or kitchen area. If there are any leftover ingredients, they are responsible for moving them back into stock and for making sure that the inventory is updated to reflect that (example: they pull 100 lbs. of flour and only use 80 lbs. then 20 lbs. goes back to stock & needs to be reflected in the inventory system). They use the Electric Pallet Jacks to move products around- they do not operate a Forklift.

The IC 1 aren’t supervisors, but they will assign the workload for the level 2’s. They'll receive the work orders to allocate to IC2's and they have more access to computer programs and will enter more information into the computer systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

o The purpose of the IC1 role is o assure the accuracy, organization, record keeping of all inventory transactions such as material request, WIP completions, and materials issuing logs.

o To issue all appropriate materials to its intended manufacturing order and process any returns to stock from that order as well.

o To assist management in the creation, implementation and execution of procedures and process controls for all inventory transactions.

o Being the lead and participate in cycle counting when necessary, resolution of discrepancies, and analyzing the outcome and being able to generate a report to explain results.

o Being able to work in all Amy’s warehouse facilities in Santa Rosa, understanding the different building functions and being capable of representation of Inventory Manager when asked.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

o Review and ensure the accuracy of ALL transactions (i.e. issuing materials, requisitions, returns to stock, purchase order, distribution orders, and manufacturing orders)

o Report all transactions in Oracle against Manufacturing Orders for materials required, request, and return to stocks.

o Report all transactions in Oracle against Internal Sales (ISOs) or Org transfers for fulfillment of materials requires (for transfers between buildings, i.e. the main plant, Sutton, Dutton and 975).

o Process all appropriate transactions for: Disposal, Return to Vendor, Purchase Orders receipts and corrections in a timely and accurate manner.

o Track material movement sheets when necessary.

o Report daily on inventory accuracy or discrepancies to Cycle Counter / or supervisor.

o Assist in preparation for and participate in inventory cycle counts as required.

o Help fellow employees to understand and follow all procedures for inventory transactions throughout all facilities.

o During peak season or based on company needs overtime is required (possible weekends). Other duties may be assigned at later date.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The possibility exists that the position may require supervision of administrative staff or Inventory Coordinator 2 to ensure timely, accurate and efficient execution of all duties. Assist Materials Control Supervisor in training, evaluation, and act as the lead during supervisor’s absence.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

TEST THE JD:

• Must have inventory experience, at least 6 months to 1 year.

• Must be comfortable with computers. They do data entry into Oracle.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

• Must have experience using a pallet jack. Electric pallet jack is a nice to have.

• They need to have good communication skills & be a team player. Must have some leadership skills/capabilities to lead the IC2's.

• Must be able to work up to 3 weekends/month. The company tries to avoid it when possible, but they may have to work a Saturday or Sunday or both sometimes. If they can cover other shifts, even better.

• Must be comfortable working in a cold storage environment. They aren’t working in the freezer, but they are in a refrigerated environment. Amy’s will provide PPE.

• Must have strong attention to detail

• Must be able to do basic math to count and track inventory accurately

NICE TO HAVES:

• They do not need to speak English. Bilingual is even better.

• Strong computer skills

• Shift flexibility
