Axway is currently seeking a Sr Systems Engineer who specialized in AWS domain. The Sr Systems Engineer will demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in industry leading Infrastructure as Services (iaaS) providers like AWS. They will have a proven track record of helping organizations to implement and operate their production workloads on AWS.

  • Ensure that Axway’s API technology is successfully deployed by defining the right system architecture to integrate the solution in the customer’s digital environment.

Lead day-to-day Technical operational activities for implementing changes, resolving incidents, managing configurations and administering Axway’s Managed Cloud solution on AWS.

  • Work with Customer and other Axway teams on technical Architecture/implementation/escalations Executing DR tests and Maintenance activities

  • Able to perform Capacity Planning on customer environment on Managed Cloud and provide recommendations for improving availability and cost optimization

  • Manage the lifecycle of all requests and incidents that arise, driving for root cause of problems to prevent incidents from recurring

  • Participate in after-hours support and implementation activities as required

Your Qualifications and Experience :

  • Minimum of 1 year of Production Operations or Support experience on AWS.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry working on leading infrastructure as service providers like AWS or Azure or Google Cloud.

  • Vast knowledge around enterprise security, identity management (IAM), and best practices minimally including PKI, CA, TLS, SSO, SAML, LDAP, OpenID, Multifactor, and OAuth.

  • Experience with networking protocols and technology: TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, DNS, WAN, LAN, VPN, Internet, Intranet, Extranet

  • Best practice and experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Chef, Puppet, etc.

  • Technical knowledge: Strong Unix/Linux/Windows, Networking, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL databases

  • Experience of working within or with Banking/FSI, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Government, and/or Supply Chain Domains is a plus

  • Experience in working with Ticketing tools like Service now, Jira is preferred

  • Willingness to travel across Northern Europe and to the EMEA headquarters in Paris, as business needs demand, is expected.


· Bachelor's Degree, with a technical major, such as engineering in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent work experience.

UK Residency and Security Clearance:

· A minimum of 5 years UK residence is a pre-requisite for achieving the required UK Government Security Clearance
