The Nanny League High Profile Client Seeks Compassionate & Professional Night Nanny in United States

WEST PALM BEACH, FL- High-profile seeks a seasoned, mature, wise kind, warm-hearted, mature, humble, and patient Nanny/Newborn Care Specialist to provide OVERNIGHT CARE for their 7-month-old baby.

  • They are looking for someone 7 days a week working from 7pm - 10am. (they are open to 6 days a week with a mid-week evening off.)

  • The ideal candidate will be flexible and open to working daytime Saturdays.

  • They are looking for someone who brings experienced perspective, but who is also okay with taking direction from the family in order to support their preferences. This is a live-out position, meaning the candidate goes home each morning and arrives for work in the evenings. Of course, a bed is provided in the nursery, crib-side, for sleep during the evening working hours.

  • The ideal candidate must be confident and able to create a safe and nurturing environment for the baby, as well as cultivate a strong relationship with baby and family.

MUST BE A TRUE TEAM PLAYER, MONTESSORRI BACKGROUND A PLUS!

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting in the daily care, nurturing, sleep, and mindful watch of the family’s newborn child

  • Assisting with maintaining the child’s bed-time and sleep/feeding schedules

  • Other Nanny / Newborn Care Specialist duties and responsibilities as required and requested by the family

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10-20+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Outstanding references from current and previous employers

  • Infant sleep consultant/specialist preferred

  • Newborn Care Certification preferred

  • Degree in Early Childhood Development, Education, or related field a plus

  • Montessori Society certification a plus

  • CACHE endorsed qualifications a plus

  • First Aid and CPR required

  • Strong command of English language; excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Swimming skills a plus

  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a family team

  • Flexible schedule and able to work long hours as needed

  • Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Legally able to work in the United States

TYPCAL WORKDAY:

Work is flexible but a typical workday might be: Arrival to the family residence by 7 PM. Read to baby. Supervise baby play. Bathe baby. Dress baby for bed. Feed and put baby in crib down to sleep by 9 PM. Sleep beside the crib in the nursery, attending to baby through the night as necessary. Baby wakes up around 8:30 AM. Dress and feed baby. Read to baby (materials provided). Be relieved by daytime nanny at 10:30 AM. Go home. Come back to work later that evening.

Compensation

$125,000 - 150,000 dependent on resume and experience

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership

Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
