Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships (with Customers and Co- Workers).

  • The ability to track and follow all customer request until complete.

  • The ability to learn new products and their key features.

  • Run various reports for the Report Server to obtain needed customer information.

  • Work with operations teams to provide quick and accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone and email.

  • Develop and provide specs for configured product lines as needed by the customers or outside sales team members.

  • Assist with initial contact and setup of new accounts. (credit application, etc)

  • Help facilitate and maintain the RGR process with all local production plants.

  • Provide daily support to assign outside sales team.

  • Variety of other misc. tasks that will vary from day to day.

  • Source new sales opportunities and build relationships through phone calls and emails

  • Understand customer needs and requirements

  • Work with appropriate sales executives to further develop opportunities

  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities upon hiring, however, potential direct reports are a possibility.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary.

Travel

Local travel is expected for this position.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • System experience with Navision and AX

  • System experience with both Navision and AX. Including Microsoft Outlook and Excel

  • Knowledge and understanding of LCI’s production processes and procedures.

  • Well-spoken individual who can communicate clearly and respectfully with customer (internal & external) via phone or email.

  • Ability to work independently, under pressure to meet deadlines/timelines.

  • Team player, open to change and changing priorities a must.

  • Demonstrated high sense of urgency; organizational skills and time management.

  • Possess a strong ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast passed environment.

  • Must be able to remain collected in stressful situations

  • Capable of working within a team based structure.

  • Willing and able to work overtime, when necessary.

  • MUST BE CUSTOMER CENTRIC!

  • Positive attitude.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Work Authorization/Security Clearance
